She also has recommended Silpat®, Silpain®, and Sil-Eco®. Alice says “Regardless of what I am baking, I now always use my Silpat® non-stick baking mat, my Silpain®, if I am baking a delicious bread, or my awesome Sil-Eco® round mat whenever I use my springform cake pan. The Infamous NY Times Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe!

Our friends at (3.6 million circ.) recently featured Silpat® in a delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe. The recipe is from a New York Times article that author Jane Maynard first saw when she was scouring the web for answers as to what makes a great chocolate chip cookie. Jane makes it a point to use her “handy dandy Silpat®” (!) in the recipe as opposed to parchment paper or grease.

Silpat Celebrates its 20th Anniversary in North America

Silpat 20th anniversaryOn May 10th, Sasa Demarle hosted its 20th Anniversary party at the Mountain Lakes in Princeton, NJ. The party was a great success for Sasa Demarle, Silpat, and customers alike. We want to thank everyone again for their continued support over the past two decades in North America.

At the party, we had a wonderful pastry chef, Frederic Monti, create a masterpiece made entirely of sugar. We also had a lovely model wearing our Silpat dress, which was a real hit. In addition to the photobooth, drinks, great food and dancing, we also unveiled our brand new website and new product catalog.
