Silpat® recently partnered up with Jennie Schacht, culinary author and consultant, to promote the Silpat® liner as well as her brand new book, “I Scream SANDWICH”. Her cookbook redefines this widely popular treat and shows us how ice cream can easily be the star of a dinner party, child’s birthday bash, family picnic, or just a lazy summer afternoon. The book includes a variety of ice cream sandwich recipes; from the classics, to exotic, and even upscale. This idea-filled book also includes recipes for sauces, roll-ins and decorations.
In addition to her recommendations of Silpat® for the ice cream recipes within the book, we also held a special giveaway to attract new fans. Through Facebook, contestants were given the chance to win a brand new Silpat® along with a copy of the recipe book! Participation was through the roof and 5 lucky winners were finally selected.

The wonderfully talented and ever frugal Erin Chase over at $5 Dinners, has featured Silpat® once again in our “Recipe of the Month” feature. In her recipe for Rolo Stuffed Chocolate chip cookies, she suggests using a Silpat® for perfect baking and ease of use. Our friend Dorothy over at Crazy for Crust has featured the Roul’Pat® in a recipe of hers for Butterscotch Pecan Pies (Yum!). She is definitely crazy for crust, as are we. In her recipe, she mentions that Roul’Pat has made the rolling out of anything extremely easy. In fact, she goes as far as to say that Dough rolling should be an Olympic Sport where contestants use Roul’Pat® to go for the gold! What an event that would be.
As Dorothy states, “I cannot speak more highly of the Roul’Pat. It actually makes me want to make roll-out cookies, and if you know me, that’s endorsement enough.”
